Love, Lies, and Cryptids
Love can be a real monster
One minute, Nico Juárez is enjoying the stability of their job as senior editor at Unified Theory Press, a publishing house specializing in books about the paranormal—cryptids in particular. The next minute, they’re stuck with a terrible new boss and a clueless (yet uncomfortably cute) new assistant. Jasper Milton just wanted healthcare and to keep his sexy side-hustle a secret. Now he’s faced with an adorable, yet prickly, supervisor and a company thrown into chaos. Nico and Jasper must team up to stay sane. Hopefully, they won’t fall in love—or be squashed by Bigfoot—in the process.
A grumpy/sunshine office romcom with a nonbinary, demisexual main character and a gay plus size character. Great for fans of the romantic meta-plot of The Magnus Archives.

A light-hearted and delightful read
Love, Lies, and Cryptids is truly a unique office romcom, set against a backdrop of conspiracy theories, unexpected management changes, and a truly wacky and endearing cast. I was rooting for Jasper and Nico from the first page, and seeing them overcome their various miscommunications and fights had me smiling for hours after I finished the book. Definitely a cozy read for the winter, and highly recommended!

A must read!
A delicious story that blends the lines of romance, tension, and the erotic. Each main character is so likable in their own unique way, and the author captures the delicate intricacies of human contact and behavior. I really enjoyed the honest navigation of queer and non-binary experiences. A non-binary voice is rare in a novel and this leaves me hungry for future writing. Highly recommend!
